Assignment/Methodology

KBT Partners has been engaged to assist AMICAS in their corporate development activity. We work closely with senior management to:

  • identify new channels and sources of growth and revenue
  • establish channel relationships
  • structure deals and consummate contracts
  • monitor and nurture relationships to achieve maximum value over a period of years
  • help the company to identify and execute on potential acquisition targets

Results

A new alliance was formed with Epic Corporation in which Epic now uses AMICAS as its primary PACS solution. KBT initiated the relationship and negotiated with key executives of both firms, including finalizing all business documents. Several new clients have been signed resulting in a new client category for AMICAS.

PatientKeeper was also engaged as a reseller of AMICAS, embedding the image manager as part of the PatientKeeper product. In addition, we facilitated the implementation of a new off-shoring partner for development.
